1. INHIBITS DEGRADATION

Minimizes destruction or inactivation in gastric acid

2. TARGETS ENZYME RELEASE

Allows for delayed release of enzymes until they are in the duodenum (at pH ≥5.5, based on in vivo studies)1,5

3. WORKS QUICKLY

As early as 15 minutes after ingestion, ZENPEP delivers lipase straight to the site of fat absorption during meals5*

  • *A phase 1, open-label, randomized, single-treatment, crossover study in 17 adult patients (>18 years of age) with EPI secondary to chronic pancreatitis to determine the bioavailability of lipase from ZENPEP in the duodenum under fed conditions. Statistical significance was seen at 30 minutes as compared with duodenal lipase release without ZENPEP.2
